There are two standard options available that incorporate Isorubber Base or Platform Floor resilient overlays along with a high performance Isorubber Base option, all options utilise a resilient bar ceiling treatment useful for Sound Proofing and Noise Reduction applications.

Standard Options

Option 1 – Isorubber Base
Description – 6mm Isorubber Base is laid on the structural timber deck and overlaid with an 18mm T&G timber floating floor layer. Isorubber is turned up at edges to prevent flanking sound transmission. 100mm mineral wool is required between the joists and a ceiling treatment of a 1 x 15mm Plasterboard Plank and 1 x 19mm Plasterboard Plank isolated from the joist using a resilient bar system.

Acoustic Performance:
Lab test results of:
Airborne Sound ≥ 48Bb (Rw + Ctr)
Impact Sound ≤ 59dB (Lnw)

Option 2 – Platform Floor
Description – 25mm Platform Floor is laid on the structural timber deck with Isoedge 6/75 used at edges to prevent flanking sound transmission. 100mm mineral wool is required between the joists and a ceiling treatment of a 1 x 15mm Plasterboard Plank and 1 x 19mm Plasterboard Plank isolated from the joist using a resilient bar system.

Impact Sound ≤ 59dB (Lnw)

High Performance Option
